Mobor Beach, one of the most popular and happening beaches of Goa is spread over a narrow channel of sand dunes stretching between the Assolna River Estuary and the great Arabian Sea. The ten kilometers long beach of Mobor situated in North Goa is a home to some of the most luxurious and exclusive beach resorts in Goa. Soft white sand backed by palms trees fringes the turquoise Arabian Sea. On the shore facing the sea we can find plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas where tourists can relax in the lap of nature. Mobor Beach is bit sophisticated as compared to other secluded beaches of Goa. One can enjoy the famous Goan drink Feni and delicious Goan cuisine at the restaurants parked at Mobor Beach. Dabolim International Airport is just 35 kilometers from here and Margao Station is 15 km away. Cabs can be easily availed from both the places to reach Mobor. From Margao you can even take a bus to Mobor and ferries operate from Assolna every 15 minutes that connect it with Cavelossim. Mobor beach offers water sports like wind-surfing, water-skiing, jet skiing and banana boat. Mobor beach club arranges deep sea fishing trips, and early-morning dolphin and porpoise spotting excursions here. The shops set up at the Mobor Beach sell clothes, beachwear, gifts and souvenirs. Cabo da Rama Fort situated at Kanakona taluk which is located to the south of Mobor is a must visit place around the Mobor Beach. This fort offers a glimpse of Goa's rich history. A temple of Shree Chandreshwar Bhoothnath, located near Paroda, in the neighboring Quepem Talukae must also not be missed.
