The butterfly beach that lies between the Palolem and the Agonda Beaches offers another favorable place for canoeing. A cup shaped rock widely known as the 'Pandava's Drum' is positioned at the southern end of the Palolem beach. This is the major attraction of this beach and tourists feel enchanted to throw stones into the drum and listen to the sound that is produced from there. Figueiredo House Known for its architecture and design is another attraction situated adjacent to the Pandava's drum. This house was constructed in 20th century by the Figueiredo family. Today it stands as a part of the Neptune Point Hotel.
